Big Butte Rally - June and August

This trail is a easy ride from Atomic City with a truly unique and exciting trail up the collapsed inside of this giant cinder cone. You will gain a great deal of elevation and the views are amazing. If you catch the right day in the Summer you may see the hang-gliders taking off from the south side. In the Fall it can be frosty at the top, as you will see from some of the pictures. A good pair of binoculars or a spotting scope can make for some great viewing of the desert valley below.
